Aiming to correct that, and give the new family camera a test run, I present my most recent two consignments.
The first were a selection of large, heroic scale figures for use with my expanding Galactic Adventures In The Fourth Dimension Of The Forbidden Zone collection of miniatures, which would have been used in full-force if I'd opted to a run a "wacky space opera" style of roleplaying game next year for the Tuesday Knights.
These were all actually limited edition figures manufactured by Newbold and released through their Olde Worlde Charity Shoppe, in aid of Children In Need.
My latest package of painted figures to turn up from Neil were more traditionally sized 28mm contemporary era, but no less exotic, which I'm hoping might be required some day to field in my Villains & Vigilantes games, but will almost certainly see some action (when I've cleared the games table) in a zombie-fighting wargame.
First up are The Midnight Raiders from Raven Painting - better known as the stars of Rob Zombie's The Devil's Rejects - who look like a fine bunch of zombie hunters.
Then we have The Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond (aka Tweedy Mattison and WPC May Killan from Crooked Dice Game Design Studio) with The Soul Section (from Copplestone Casting's Kiss Kiss Bang Bang line).
My new arrivals round out with these six magnificent James Bond-style villains (also from Copplestone's Kiss Kiss Bang Bang line) and you just know it's only a matter of time before I wheel out 'robot Hitler' for my players' superheroes to face!
