|It's the thin end of a very expensive wedge, I tells ya!|
My first unpainted, and unassembled, Knight Models' miniature for their Batman game has arrived: TV's Arrow.
I've already been in discussion with my figure painter of many years, Neil Wilson, about my plunging into this new arena and he's agreed to introduce a new painting standard - above his usual, already excellent, premium standard. Hey, if you're going to do something, do it properly, I say!
The Oliver Queen miniature comes with a choice of heads and I can't decide yet whether I want him hooded or unhooded:
Not that I shall be rushing into things, as I'd like to pick up a couple more figures at least before I send them on to Neil.
Another thing that has struck me about this game is that it finally gives me the incentive to dive into Shedward again.
I intend to finally sort out all the bitz, bobs, tubes, pipes, broken figures, odd parts, building material discards etc I've accumulated over the years under the impression that "one day" I'd be able to recycle them as terrain for a wargames' table. Perhaps that "one day" is finally here...
