|Hollow Earth Expedition (HEX): The first game to use the Ubiquity rules engine...|
The Ubiquity system is finally getting its own category on DriveThruRPG, the largest online RPG download store.
Ubiquity head honcho Jeff 'Freaking' Combos said: "I've had a few people tell me that Ubiquity products are hard to find on DriveThruRPG. I looked into it and contacted publisher support to see what we could do about fixing that.
"Well, thanks to generous people like you, who not only supported HEX, but all the other Ubiquity games out there, DTRPG agreed to create a Ubiquity entry in the Rules Systems drop down list.
"This means that it has its own identity and is no long lumped in with all the other 'unique or custom systems' out there. We have a little work to do to update all the 70+ titles, but soon you'll be able to search by Ubiquity and have everything show up, which is going to be helpful for people that want to play more Ubiquity games."
Following on from HEX, current Ubiquity-fuelled games from licensed third-party publishers include Leagues Of Adventure, All For One, Desolation, and Space: 1889, with more on the horizon.
