|Deira, principal setting for Mythica, is an outlying kingdom in the vast Vitalion Empire|
As you may have guessed from previous posts I'm a massive fan of Arrowstorm's Mythica cycle, a five-movie saga set in a Dungeons & Dragons-esque fantasy world.
Although each movie has been financed through Kickstarter, their use of mainly practical environments and costumes for creatures such as orcs, dwarves, elves and the like give the independent film company's fantasy flicks a certain style of their own.

Mythica: A Quest for Heroes and Mythica 2: The Darkspore have already been released and Mythica 3: The Necromancer is due out soon.
Mythica 4: The Iron Crown has finished filming and Mythica 5: The Godslayer began filming at the start of the month. Money raised through Kickstarter generally goes towards the post-production work on each movie.
Arrowstorm has recently launched a new website dedicated to the Mythica movies, introducing fans old and new to the setting, the characters, and the films.
