After last week's rather special episode, it was back to hardcore spy-fi with Among Us Hide... with May and Bobbi taking over Hunter's assignment of tracking down Ward; Daisy, Mac and Hunter pursuing their own investigations into Lash's human identity; and Coulson chummying up to Rosalind to get a peak inside the ATCU headquarters.
Daisy's group believes that Rosalind's number two, Banks (Andrew Howard) is a strong contender to be Lash, so Hunter zaps him with an icer gun, so they can get some of his blood, to allow Simmons to run tests on it to see if his DNA contains Inhuman markers.
Meanwhile, Werner von Strucker is on the run from Ward and turns to a colleague of his father, Gideon Malick (Powers Boothe), little realising that Malick is going to sell him out to Ward.
Bobbi and May "follow the money" and end up crashing in on Ward's torturers as they do their worse on the young von Strucker.
With Among Us Hide... it's beginning to feel as though Season Three is starting to gain momentum, the introduction of the sinister Malick (Powers Boothe always makes a great baddie), the revelation of Lash's unexpected human face, the way all the plot threads tied together etc
We were also treated to some fine fight sequences when May and Bobbi took on Ward's goons, and there was even time for a moment of Fitz digging into the backstory of Will (the astronaut who kept Jemma alive on the alien planet, and her reason for needing to return).
The episode posed as many questions as it answered, finally getting to a point where trailers for the next episode could contain potential spoilers, and I can't wait to see what happens next.
Next Time (beware spoilers if you are not up-to-speed):
