The core rulebook for Villains & Vigilantes 3.0: The Mighty Protectors is already funded and we've hit the first stretch goal, which earns backers a free downloadable, eight-page, landscape-format, gamesmaster's screen.
Copies of the rules acquired through the Kickstarter will also now be branded as "special edition" and feature a unique emblem designed by artist Jeff Dee, to differentiate our copies of the game from those purchased later from elsewhere.
So what future stretch goals have, so far, been revealed?
At $21,000: Everyone who pledged at least $30 gets a PDF copy of the Market Forces adventure for free.
The print edition of this 62-page adventure for Mighty Protectors (dual statted for V&V 2.1 as well), where an investigation into local organized crime turns out to have international ties, will be a $16 add-on when funding reaches this level. Written by Stephen Dedman, illustrated by Tod Allen Smith.
Also everyone who pledged at least $15 receives a PDF set of Mighty Protectors character sheets for all eight characters from the V&V adventure Intercrime: Hostile Takeover.
At $24,000: Everyone who pledged at last $55 gets a PDF copy of the massive War Heroes sourcebook for free.
The print edition of this 300+ page World War II sourcebook becomes a $32 add-on when funding reaches this level.
Written by Brian Adams, illustrated by Scott Sackett, it includes 70 characters, period vehicles and equipment, maps, a timeline, and optional rules for an ultra-low-powered Commandos campaign, giving player-characters the chance to team up with established Mighty Protectors characters such as Freedom Eagle, Psi-Man, and Stormlord's father, Excalibur.
Also, everyone who pledged at least $30 receives a PDF set of Mighty Protectors character sheets for all 18 characters from the legendary V&V adventure Crisis at Crusader Citadel.
At $28,000: Everyone who pledged at last $15 gets a PDF copy of the Situation Room adventure for free.
