With all the excitement around the Villains & Vigilantes 3.0: Mighty Protectors Kickstarter going gangbusters, I've been inspired to knuckle down and do some actual work - rather than just compiling notes and ideas - on the setting I shall be presenting to the Tuesday Knights as our next game locale.
Knight City will be the base of operations, drawing on previous superhero campaign settings, buffed up with some new ideas and inspirations (thank you, Ancient Aliens!), and - eventually (once the rules are published) - statted up for use with Villains & Vigilantes 3.0.
I'm slowly putting together a blog/website, but won't be going public with it until it's time to introduce the setting to the Tuesday Knights. I don't want it to distract them from our final three scheduled games of Heroes & Other Worlds.
Launch date is currently scheduled for November 1 (about a week before what is supposed to be the final session of our three-year Chronicles Of Cidri campaign).
Most recently I've been writing up the first wave of 'areas of interest' in Knight City's various boroughs, but next I intend to start cataloguing supervillains that I've either mentioned in passing elsewhere (such as imprisoned in the city's asylum) or are scribbled in my numerous notebooks.
Again, this will only be outlines/origin stories/ideas at present, but I want to get them all in one place (on my computer), so I can begin methodically statting them out once the rules are published and in my hands (hopefully by the end of the year).
