As the Villains & Vigilantes 3.0: Mighty Protectors Kickstarter hits the half-way point, and with its funding firmly in the bag and a handful of stretch goals already unlocked, analytics engine Kicktraq still has the campaign trending towards a very healthy target.
As of this morning, the campaign has achieved 168% of its initial target ($30,370), but Kicktraq calculates that by the fundraiser's close of play - September 19 - it could hit $58,648 (325 per cent of its target), based on the current rate of pledges.
The Kickstarter is currently bringing in an average of 37 backers and $1,892 a day. As you can see from the graphs above, showing daily backers and pledges, after the expected mad rush at the start when hardcore fans jumped aboard, the campaign has now settled down to a pretty steady and consistent level of fresh support.
The next stretch goal is $33,000, which unlocks 48+ page adventure/sourcebook Abomination Realm by Jack Herman and artist Neil Vokes.
Once this stretch goal has been reached everyone who pledges at least $80 to the campaign will get a PDF of the book for free.
The nature of the next stretch goal after that (at $39,000) has yet to be announced.
