|The Tuesday Knights: (from left): Simon, Erica, Pete, Kevin, Clare, and me|
Last night, as a change from our regular monthly games' night, the Tuesday Knights gathered for a celebration of the end of our three-year Heroes & Other Worlds campaign as well as my impending 50th birthday.
Boisterous banter accompanied takeaway curry and cake. Rachel had put together a Tuesday Knights-themed quiz (three rounds: geeky film quotes, roleplaying game trivia, and name-that-superhero), which I can smugly announce that I won.
Then we played one of the party games that Pete had brought along: Fact or Crap, which was an individual general knowledge/speed game, that Erica triumphed in.
Rachel got several presents from the group, as a thank you for the effort (and money) she puts in every month to being the hostest-with-the-mostest, and I got a couple of surprising, early, birthday presents: Simon has ordered me the Batman '66 T-shirt I was craving and Pete got me my first Nerf gun.
Next month (all being well) we begin our new Knight City superhero campaign.
