With the Vigilante City Kickstarter due to launch tomorrow, I couldn't let the moment pass without drawing attention to Justin Isaac's interpretation of the legendary Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes to the SURVIVE THIS system (which drives Vigilante City, Zombies!, and Dark Places & Demogorgons, from Bloat Games).
Justin's "tomato" stats can be found here.
Killer Tomatoes have a long history with our own gaming group, as waaaaay back in the day, when we were producing the HeroPress print fanzine, one of the recurring faux advert themes that would pop up in our games was the Killer Tomatoes From Beyond Mars.
These then became the breakout movies that provided the seed money for businessman/adventurer/archaeologist/philanthropist Nick Law to launch his career and reshape the world our superhero games exist in.
- It's also worth mentioning that Josh Beckelhimer, of JB Publishing, has published a one-page adventure this week for use with Justin's OSR Western system, Six-Shooters & Wagons.
Blood Mask & Envy can be found on Josh's site here.
