|Everything already in the gamesroom had to be covered with dust sheets before George's work could begin|
In between all the phenomenal work Rachel's dad is doing building units in the gamesroom (as well as all the other work he's doing elsewhere in the house), our friendly neighbourhood electrician George - along with his pal Kevin - came in to install rows of downlights, as well as move a switch.
The switch was moving to the diametrically opposite corner of the gamesroom, to allow shelving to be erected around the corner where it originally sat (and for the, now, unused door to be covered).
This, and the lighting installation, involved pulling up the carpets upstairs, in the main bedroom...
This necessitated us emptying the room, and me sleeping in the single bed in the spare room for a few nights, as I'm not able bodied enough to get off a mattress on the floor (Rachel's makeshift bed ... especially in the middle of the night.

After a full day of hard work, the lights were finished.
I'm very impressed by their brightness. They're exactly as I envisaged them.
Now, I just need to finish stocking up the shelves in the gamesroom, so I can now admire all my treasures under bright, clear lighting.
