Braid's Imogen Waterhouse is Queen Gwynn in The Outpost |
Best news of the week: a third season of Arrowstorm Entertainment's The Outpost has been green-lit.
Shown on The CW in the States and on SyFy over here, the fantasy show is produced by my old muckers Arrowstorm, whose very Dungeons and Dragons-inspired work I've supported for years, and Dean Devlin's Electric Entertainment.
Over at TVDrama.WS, Dean Devlin is quoted as saying:
"We are extremely excited about getting the opportunity to make another season of The Outpost. The reactions of cast and crew to this news were shared by TV Series Finale.
We’re grateful for the support The CW has given us and we’re thrilled to be able to bring another season to our amazing partners around the world.
The show has proven to be a tremendous success and continues to build on an incredible fan base."

Hopefully, now that the show's reached a landmark third season, we might start seeing more "support material" and merchandise for the world of The Outpost.
I'm not expecting action figures, but as I've said a number of times, a guidebook to the fantasy world would certainly scratch an itch for me.
And a D&D module wouldn't go amiss...
