As the Kickstarter to fund the official audio adaptation of the legendary sword-and-sorcery film, Hawk The Slayer, inches towards its funding goal, it has been revealed that Ray Charleson will be reprising his cinematic role as Crow the elfin bowman.
Graham Richards, the mastermind behind the full-cast audio project, announced:
"The “last of his kind,” elfin bowman Crow will be rapid-firing his way through the audio adaptation of Hawk the Slayer. The Kickstarter runs until December 4, and if it gets far enough into stretchgoal territory that will open up the prospect of adapting the (so far) unfilmed sequels - Hawk The Hunter and Hawk The Destroyer - to the audio format.
"This time we'll get to hear a bit more from the character, as he recounts some of the history of the mindstone.
"In conversation today, Ray is happy that there is still some love for this fantastic tale, and that there is hope for the future."
