As I trudge towards the 15th anniversary of HeroPress next January, I'm slowly implementing some changes to the blog.
The MOST IMPORTANT immediate difference will be the way I share articles via Facebook. From the start of next month (June), articles pertaining to comics and superheroes (including movie/TV coverage and relevant games) will be shared ONLY on my new HeroPress Facebook page, so please join that if you wish to be kept abreast of developments in that area.
All you need to do is 'like' (and 'follow') this page: https://www.facebook.com/HeroPress2 and ensure you're notified of any new postings.
Simultaneously, all articles relating to swords-and-sorcery/fantasy etc (again, including games, films etc) will now only be shared in my I'd Rather Be Killing Monsters group on Facebook.
Entry is free to this club, all you have to do is promise not to be a dick.
Obviously, what I REALLY would you like you all to do (if you haven't already) is to "follow" this blog directly (by clicking the "follow" button at the top of the right-hand column of this blog, and thus adding your icon to my ever-growing Legion of Whom) or, at least, through your blog aggregator (such as Feedly).
Going forward, I'm planning to phase out a lot of my cosplay coverage by the end of 2021, keeping only the beloved Wonder Woman Wednesday as a regular feature.
This is in line with my personal attitude to blogging that saw me shelving Picture Parades and similar image-heavy posts.
In that arena, I'll still be hanging on to Weird Wednesday posts, the occasional Artist Appreciation, and, of course, my monthly Geek Pin-Up, all of which I feel have some merit and justification in the HeroPress ethos.
