This is exactly why I rejoined Tumblr the other month: for inspirational artwork like this stunning piece by Russian artist ivany86 (from deviantart).
The endless possibilities just make me want to grab some dice, roll up a character and jump right in - without even looking where I'm going!
This looks like it would be an awesome setting to play in!

DeleteI'd see it being extremely hard to pull off and probably not well liked maybe, but I'd find it entertaining.
I've long entertained similar ideas, but you'd need a committed team of players and a very long-running campaign to really get the full effect of such an undertaking.
DeleteAgreed, and I know for sure I do not have a committed team of players to attempt that undertaking sadly.
DeleteI have a good group, but we don't meet anywhere near frequently enough - or game for that long each time - to make such an epic enterprise worth attempting. Perhaps when we're all retired...
