Dragon Bait is a new range of (currently) a dozen 28mm character-packed miniatures for fantasty roleplaying games being produced - via an IndieGoGo campaign - by Joe Corsaro.
The figures have been designed, from Joe's initial ideas, by Mike Burns (the man behind the brilliant Egyptian miniatures range) and sculpted by the world-famous Kev ‘Goblin-Master’ Adams.
The range includes: a cleric, hobbit thief, female barbarian, magic-user, elf fighter, hobbit barbarian, half-orc fighter, elf bard, dwarf ranger, gnome alchemist, half-orc druid and dwarf fighter.
Joe hopes to raise $3,000 by May 28, and is well on the way to achieving that goal (be aware that this is one of those IndieGoGo campaigns where your investment is taken regardless of whether the campaign hits its target or not; "flexible funding" they call it).
Joe also points out that he has a got a head-start on the production of the miniatures and aims to get them mailed out to supporters within a week of the fundraising campaign closing.
Check out the campaign's website for information on the various levels of 'buy-in', as well as designs and greens for many of the figures. There's also a great gallery with over 50 pictures of the miniatures and design sketches.
