Having garnered pledges totalling over 200 per cent of its initial goal, the Kickstarter for Villains & Vigilantes 3.0: The Mighty Protectors comes to a close this weekend.
The games' co-creators, Jack Herman and Jeff Dee, gave a fascinating interview to EN World the other day, helping to boost the signal on their campaign.
As well as some interesting snippets about the rules, and the default campaign setting, there was a tantalising exchange between the interviewer, Darryl, and the writers about future product for the rejuvenated system:
Darryl: What support do you have planned for the game after the Kickstarter and stretch goals?Personally, I couldn't be happier; the more Mighty Protectors-compatible material the better in my book!
Jack Herman: We have a list of literally dozens of new adventures, characters, sourcebooks and accessories that we are getting ready to put out, ranging from being mostly done to just having greenlighted the proposal.
Jeff Dee: Keep in mind that our production schedule has been on hold for about 5 years due to the legal battle. We've got a tremendous backlog, ready to put into production.
Darryl: So it's less of a problem of finding and making products as just figuring out which ones to release first?
Jeff Dee: Yep!
If you want to get in on the ground-floor of this new golden age of Villains & Vigilantes, then you only have a couple of days left to invest in the Kickstarter.
