|The wet room as of Thursday evening|
The roofers finally finished on Monday, much to the delight, I am sure, of our neighbours who were not particularly happy with a week of boisterous 7.30am wake-up banter of the men scrambling over the top of our house.
All being well, that's pretty much the end of the "outdoor work" on this project (although I think we're still waiting on the brickie to patch a gap in the eves), so perhaps it won't be long before the scaffolding can come down.
As the roofers departed, the tiler turned up - well, technically the son of the tiler we'd been talking to - and he's been cracking on this week, carefully preparing the en-suite bathroom/wet room for the tiles to go up and cutting the wall niche for shampoos etc to sit in.
Olly will be back on Monday, and all being well, by the end of next week we'll have a recognisable bathroom on the top floor... just not with the toilet, shower, or sink installed!
