After a sorceress transports medieval knight Sir Cole (Josh Whitehouse) to present-day Ohio during the holiday season, he befriends Brooke (Vanessa Hudgens), a clever and kind science teacher who's been disillusioned by love.Isn't this just Conan 2099 - with less bloodshed and mayhem?
Brooke helps Sir Cole navigate the modern world as he tries to discover how to fulfil his mysterious one true quest — the only act that will return him home.
But as Sir Cole and Brooke grow closer, so do their feelings for each other.
Can their love overcome all the odds?
The Knight Before Christmas premieres November 21 on Netflix.
Of course, it's not, but it still looks very promising, featuring a lot of elements I look for in a movie: time travel, knights in shining armour, magic, swords, Christmas, snow, an attractive female lead (Vanessa Hudgens).
And, who knows, there might even be some gameable material in the more Medieval and magical aspects of the story? Which would be a pleasant bonus!
For me, this looks like the recipe for a Christmas hit.
Huzzahs, Netflix, huzzahs!
