During yesterday's four-hour Disney Investors presentation we got a glimpse at The Mouse House's plans for a galaxy far, far away.
Of course, just because something's "in development" doesn't guarantee it will see the light of day, but there's enough teases here to get our Force senses tingling:
Other projects announced included:
The return of Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker alongside Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Obi-Wan Kenobi show, set 10 years after the events of Revenge of The Sith.
Rangers of The New Republic: Taking place concurrently with The Mandalorian, and cming to Disney+ in 2022, this new live-action show is also being executively produced by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni.
Lando: The further adventures of everyone's favourite scoundrel, Lando Calrissian, in an event series from Justin Simien, creator of Dear White People.
The Acolyte: Leslye Headland's mystery-thriller that will take the audience into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark side powers in the final days of the High Republic era.
Visions: An anthology of 10 anime short films set in the Star Wars universe.
Cinematically, we learned that as well as the untitled Taika Waititi film in development, Wonder Woman's Patty Jenkins is to direct a Rogue Squadron movie that due to hit cinemas during Christmas 2023.
