Once again I feel like someone has looked deep inside my imagination and crafted a wild movie just for me.
A Writer's Odyssey, adapted from the novel of the same name, is a massive Chinese fantasy flick where the fictional creational creations of author Kongwen Lu (Dong Zijian) bleed over into his reality.
A door is accidentally opened between two parallel worlds by the novel - about a young man's quest to end the reign of the tyrannical Lord Redmane - and then a contract is put out on the author's life.
A Writer's Odyssey opens in the US, Australia, and New Zealand on February 12, and I'll be keeping an eye out for it over here in the UK.
