The first printed draft of the new iteration of my "guide to Knight City" has arrived from Lulu for me to proof.
The comic book art that was on the cover has pixelated, but that's no biggie as that was just some art I threw in there to get an idea of how that layout would look in reality, and I rather like it. I just need to find a larger art file.
Inside, one of the newer pictures I recently added (for the page on "team dynamics") doesn't seem quite right, but overall I reckon the book looks really good.
This printing had a coil binding, which makes the booklet easier to lie flat, but I'm not sold on it.
My current plan is to get a second printing done, with all my revisions, but published with a stapled binding, so I can compare the two formats.
And give the text another thorough going-over.
Even though this booklet will only ever be used at our table, for this particular Amazing Heroes campaign, I'm still a perfectionist and want it to look and read like a professional document.
Once I'm satisfied that there aren't any howling typos and I have made a final decision on the binding, I'll order up enough copies to distribute to all the Tuesday Knights ahead of the launch of my campaign (whenever that might be, as we have Pete's GURPS game in full swing, then we need to return to Ravenloft to wrap up Simon's 5e Dungeons & Dragons campaign).
