
I can't remember if The Asylum ever attempted a mockbuster of Kong: Skull Island, but I imagine it would have looked something like Serpent of Death (aka Snake), this glorious-looking low-budget Chinese offering.
Just from this trailer (flying piranhas???), it is now my life's mission to track down this monster masterpiece.

That really looks like a lot of fun. With the announcement that Everyday Heroes is getting content based on Kong: Skull Island and Pacific Rim, I've been thinking about Kaiju and stuff like this for a few weeks. I need to check this one out.
