It was my friend Jonathan Linneman, of Monstrous Matters, who described HeroPress as a "journey" through my developing fandom.
I really like that description as it helps justify my fickleness and inability to stay focussed on one topic for too long.
But this journey can be exhausting.
I reckon I've been on a bit of a roll of late and am rather pleased with a lot of what I've written.
Especially now that I've shelved 'most' of my picture parades/eye-candy features, which means I have to find more material to fill those slots in the schedule.
And so, to avoid burnout, I'm allowing myself a few days off.
To be honest, I doubt anyone'll notice, but as usual I'll ensure there's some scheduled posts (mainly film and TV trailers, I expect) to tide you over.
Thanks to a recent "eureka" moment, I'm beavering away once more on my resuscitated Frankengame (which also involves some televisual research, naturally).
Parallel with that I've found I need to curtail my social media interactions as so many people are casually sharing "spoilers" for the upcoming Doctor Who season.
RTD and his team are filming in the streets of London at present - for The Doctor's 60th Anniversary special(s) next year - and people seem to think it's okay to just blithely post their candid snapshots of what's going on.
Some of us would like to be surprised, you know.
I love all the official announcements, but these "scoops" by wannabe citizen journalists are a right pain in the arse.
