One of the great things about searching for books on Amazon is that you can get recommendations for titles you never knew existed without having to go through the hassle of actually talking to anyone.
The other day I was looking for a certain Paul Magrs Doctor Who story, featuring Iris Wildthyme (that turns out to be part of an out-of-print collection of short stories), when a recommendation for Christmassy Tales, by Paul Magrs, popped up.
Not only was this anthology a great price, but it also contains an Iris Wildthyme yarn and a host of other seasonal tales.
“And so they stood together watching the extinct and rare creatures twirling away from the party. Light as snowflakes, fading in the dawn...”I know it's seven months until Christmas, but I am also well aware that low prices don't tend to last forever and that if you don't buy something like this now by the time Christmas rolls around it may well have sold out (although this 425-page volume is actually printed by Amazon as well).
Spend Christmas in Venice, Paris, Whitby and on the planet Mars! Fourteen festive tales… from a fabulous story-teller.
Featuring the magical tale of the Goblin King and his Invisible Mask… and a new story for Brenda and Effie and Iris Wildthyme at Christmas...
