
After a help signal from a research vessel makes it back to Earth, the U.S. Space Force sends a rescue ship to Pandora, a moon of Saturn. But when they try to land, they discover Pandora is inhabited by a highly evolved humanoid species.The Asylum's latest shameless mockbuster is a glorious James Cameron twofer, aiming to cash in on the impending arrival of the second Avatar movie with a story (and effects) seemingly heavily inspired by The Abyss.

It's perhaps also worth noting that while the running time of Battle of Pandora is under 90 minutes, the upcoming Avatar flick is a bum-numbing three hours and 12 minutes long.
I know which one I'm more likely to sit through.
Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.
