Road to Bali (1953)
Bob Hope and Bing Crosby are two rascals trying to leave Melbourne to avoid impending wedding dates.
They take jobs as divers and end up on an island, where each tries to win the affections of the exotic Princess Lala (Dorothy Lamour).
Director Hal Walker (My Friend Irma, That's My Boy) keeps the fun coming in this one, with plenty of songs and gags.
And if uncredited cameos by the likes of Jerry Lewis, Dean Martin, and Jane Russell aren't enough to entice you, this is the only Road To... movie made in colour!
I loved the Road To... movies as a kid, as they were often on weekend afternoon TV, so am delighted that
Film Masters has made this one available for general enterianment.
